Englund Care’s 1:1 supports are tailored to your needs. During our intake process, we take the time to understand who you are as a person, what your interests and passions are, and how we can meet your needs. Our Support Worker intake team then review your considerations thoroughly and assign who we feel is going to be the best support work team for you.  This may be assistance with personal care, community access, assistance with household tasks or a combination.

This is an integral aspect of our person-centred support approach, so we can build a community of like-minded people in a safe environment to allow for the strengthening of independence and growth as an individual.

Englund Care understands how busy life can get, going from allied health appointments to medical appointments, grocery shopping, school pickups, community facilities, and seeing friends and family. We assist in easing the hustle in your life by utilising your core support to provide Disability Transport to allow accessing the community with ease.

During Englund Care’s intake process, we ask if you require assistance with self-care activities within your home.

These may include assistance in personal care, household tasks, maintenance, assistance in laundry, cooking, eating, grooming and tasks that you may not be able to do yourself without assistance. This service may alleviate any pressure or stress and may allow you to feel better about living in your home.

We are providing a range of group activities such as watching movies, fishing, beauty/hair and makeup, camping, visiting tourist attractions, going to a café, social nights, and Pool Competitions.

Englund Care will also send monthly events to other providers to inform their participants of activities they can be a part of. We are trying to help develop and maintain relationships and create a positive and safe community for having fun. If you believe your current service provider should receive these emails for their participants so they do not miss out on the fun get in contact.
